The Navajo tradition when starting a new business

The Navajo hair cutting ceremony is a traditional ceremony that is performed to mark important life transitions, such as birth, puberty, marriage, and death. It is also performed to cleanse and purify the individual, and to bring them into harmony with the natural world. The ceremony is typically performed by a medicine man or woman, and involves the washing and cutting of the individual's hair. The hair is cut in a specific way, and is often used to create a symbolic object, such as a figurine or a prayer stick. The ceremony also includes the singing of traditional songs and prayers. There are many reasons why the Navajo hair cutting ceremony is important. For one, it is a way to mark important life transitions. The birth of a child is a time of great joy and celebration, and the hair cutting ceremony is a way to welcome the child into the community. Puberty is a time of great change, and the hair cutting ceremony is a way to help the individual transition into adulthood. Marriage...

Who are we and what is happiness?

Who we are can be explained later. Let's start with the second question by sharing something our founder wrote: "Happiness is a complex emotion that has been studied by philosophers and scientists for centuries. The word happiness exists in many languages, a few of which I have learned, but it's not so easy to define. There is no one definition of happiness, but it is generally understood to be a state of well-being and contentment. Happiness is important because it can have a positive impact on our physical and mental health, our relationships, and our overall quality of life. Studies have shown that happy people are more likely to live longer, have healthier relationships, and be more successful in their careers. Not having a lot of happiness as a child, I devote myself to maintaining it as an adult. There are many different things that can contribute to our happiness. Some of these things are within our control, such as our attitude, our relationships, and our choices. ...

Red Pocket Mobile: A Great Fit for Just About Anyone

I am often asked why I carry more than one phone and how I can even afford to do so. The answer is pretty simple. I carry different phone because it's difficult to have reliable service from one provider as I have a large area where I service customers at their home. I also pay less for two phone than most people do for only one phone on one service. So.... Here's what I know about my service provider. Red Pocket Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that offers affordable cell phone plans without contracts. MVNOs use the networks of major carriers, such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, to provide service to their customers. This means that Red Pocket Mobile customers get the same great coverage as customers of the major carriers, but at a fraction of the price. This is why I've been with them for so long and this is how I am able to carry two different cell phones on two separate networks without breaking the bank. Red Pocket Mobile offers a variety of plan...

From Pro to Home After Clean Install?

If you have a system that includes digital licenses for both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro, you can inadvertently restore Windows 10 Home. If that happens to you, there's no need to find product key you originally used to upgrade to pro. Instead, use Microsoft's generic upgrade product key to force the upgrade. • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation and click Change Product Key. • Then, enter the default Windows 10 Pro product key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T • Follow the prompts to upgrade from Home to Pro. If your hardware already has a digital license for the Pro edition, it will activate automatically. • You'll need to use a genuine product key or pay for an upgrade if your hardware does not have a Windows 10 Pro license already otherwise, you are likely to get an error during activation.

Abuse of the Elderly by Telecommunications Companies

The elderly are a vulnerable population, and they are often targeted by telecommunications companies. These companies may use high-pressure sales tactics, complex contracts, and hidden fees to take advantage of the elderly's lack of knowledge about technology and their financial resources. Here are some of the ways that telecommunications companies take advantage of the elderly: * **High-pressure sales tactics:** Telemarketers from telecommunications companies often use high-pressure sales tactics to convince the elderly to sign up for new services or upgrade their existing plans. They may make false promises about the benefits of the services, or they may pressure the elderly into signing up without giving them enough time to consider their options. * **Complex contracts:** The contracts for telecommunications services are often complex and difficult to understand. This can be especially true for the elderly, who may not be familiar with the terms and conditions of these contracts...

Haircut Ceremony

Image
Due to many events that have taken place in my life recently including the loss of very meaningful people in my life including my grandfather, it is expected that I have a 2nd coming of age ceremony. My first coming of age ceremony started when I was 15 but took place when I was 17 and was not only a ceremony to help me transition into adulthood but was also to acknowledge my introduction into membership within the Diné community under the bilagáana clan. Although the growth of my hair is a visual representation of who I have become thus far and is a meaningful expression of my commitment to the culture and heritage of the Diné and their acceptance of me into their family, it would not be hozho of me to not go through with the haircut ceremony. I am providing my understanding of this ceremony and am seeking the wisdom and guidance of my elders as to their expectations, their requirements of me, specific ceremonial needs, and who shall be permitted to take part in the ceremony Name: Na...
